Latvia, 1939.
1949 Immigrated with family to Australia

Started showing work at the annual Advertiseropen air art exhibition

1964

Joined Adelaide's Citizen Art Groupand showed worked in annual exhibitions

1966

Participated in the annual exhibitons of the Miller Andersons Migrant Artistsshows until the early 70's

60's-70's

Exhibited at the Don Pedro and Old Mill Gallery in the Adelaide hills during the mid 60's and early 70's having several small mixed shows at these galleries. Exhibited with a number of Melbourne galleries early in his career.

1972

While studying and painting in the UK, exhibited some of his work at the Madden Galleries, Duke Street, London.
