Born 1940 Bridgetown Western Australia. Raised on a farm among the South West Jarrah forests.

Teaching Exchange to Bedford, UK

1967-79

Teaching service in Wheatbelt areas of WA. Research and experimentation in oil painting developed in this period and eventuated in the discovery of the current direction


ARTISTIC DEVELOPMENT

1980-83

Spent twelve years living in an artists' environment in Darlington which created
opportunities for personal and technical development as well as contact with the wider art scene. Work selected for David Jones Art Prize; Freedom From Hunger Campaign and Mining Industry Awards (1982)

1984-94

A long association with Alexander Galleries developed. Technical detail has
been influenced by Alexander Risco, Greg Baker and others as well as continued
private research and immersion in art.
